The view (above and below) from the apartment into The Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour |
You would be centrally located to Fremantle City, the main shipping Harbour and business districts. The marine industry hub of Henderson is 10 minutes down the road. And then Kwinana is another 10 minutes further on from that. Driving to Perth City would take you 30 to 40 minutes by car.
The walking and cycle track is located across the road, as is the bus stop, which links to the train station, which will take you directly to Perth City. Access to the Rottnest Ferry is located in the harbour, nearby.
You will find fabulous coffee, great cafe's and restaurant's and pub's who brew award winning beers, only a short stroll away. Fremantle is very exciting, and this apartment is easy access to it all.
The Google Map below shows the route from the Fremantle Train Station to The Apartment. The purple tag is the exact location of the building.
I love Google Earth.... This shows only 3 harbours; The Fremantle Sailing Club in the South (or top of the map) The Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour in the middle and then Challenger Harbour located on the right side there. That is where the famous yacht race, The America's Cup, was hosted in 1987. The Royal Perth Yacht Club is situated further up the river and built, what was known as 'The Annexe' to gain unimpeded access to the ocean, as there are two lowish bridges between the main club and the ocean race course in Gage Roads.
